With over 40 years on stage and every member of the ensemble a proven top musician, it would be logical to label the group Blechschaden as "tried and tested and never equaled". But that is only one side of the brass coin; the other, for which they are loved by their loyal fan base, is their tireless commitment to extracting the fun side of music. With every performance, Blechschaden shows that any kind of music, whether pop or opera, musical or classical symphony, can be enjoyable if you present it correctly, i.e. unconventionally.

The new Blechschaden album is an invitation to escape from our fast-paced and demanding world. It serves our longing for earlier times, when there was more liberated hip shaking in the living room. When a new, moving sound blew away the staidness of unhappy days and brought with it liberal values. And when this new attitude to life put entire generations into a boundless spirit of optimism. "Welcome back to the good old days, back to the 50s, 60s and 70s!"
